Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American musician and rapper. His stage name is a amalgamation of the name of his favorite uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut album from the studio. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Scott's track "Franchise" with Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott was the first rapper to be ranked the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
