Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain of the US female Olympic gymnastics The 2012 Fierce 5 team, and in 2016. the Final Five. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions and also in the floor routines. For the balance beam, Raisman was awarded a bronze. It made her the Olympic gymnast with most medals. She took gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. She also won two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. In between the two Olympics she had taken off from competitive gymnastics for three years. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team in two World Championships. In the age of two when she started to study gymnastics. Her favorite sport is doing floor exercises. Aly believes in with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. In the future, she plans to make a career in fashion. She would also like to broaden her leotards and also her socks line. Fierce is her first book, which will be released later in the year.
